MONTELLA ON THE CLASH WITH DEPORTIVO: "WHAT'S IMPORTANT IS THAT WE ALL HAVE THE RIGHT ATTITUDE"

Vincenzo Montella appeared before the press this Tuesday afternoon to discuss Sevilla FC's upcoming clash with Deportivo. For the coach, the match against Deportivo is another final: "You can't choose between competitions, we have to fight in all of them. The final against Barcelona is important, but so is La Liga, for qualification for the Europa. Tomorrow is just as important as Saturday".

The Italian confessed that after a busy schedule in March and April, "the team now needs to rest a little", and with that being said "there will be other players available to do what's best for the team". 

Aside from who will play, what's clear is that the Sevilla FC vs. Deportivo clash will be one to watch, with Deportivo having bagged two consecutive wins and hopes of avoiding relegation: "A lot has been said about the final, but Sevilla are used to it. It's a good thing, not a bad a thing. Deportivo has climbed the table following their recent matches. They're a good side, I have watched them play. It will be tough, as always, but what's important is that we all have the right attitude".

Asked to make an evaluation on La Liga, the coach didn't hide that "we haven't had a great run in La Liga up to now, but the other day I read that Guardiola, more of an expert than myself, had said three of the four Champions League semi-finalists are leading 20 points clear of the other teams in their respective leagues...It is very difficult to compete in three competitions, we have competed in the Champions League and the Copa del Rey, which has seen us struggle a little in La Liga. I think that this is normal for us. We have to be balanced in this situation, we are in a final, we are fighting in La Liga and we had a great Champions League campaign. This is how football is".
