Nolito made a guest appearance this Monday on SFC Radio's Sólo el Sevilla, in an interview whereby he spoke about making the most of his time off: "If you think about it, it's fair to say that preseason is already here, however, there's enough time to enjoy with the family before having to get back to it and get our heads down". It won't be long until the players will be putting their boots back on and training under the orders of new coach, Pablo Machín: "I don't know the coach, but he had a great season with Girona and he's going to have a very competitive team. We'll see how things go in preseason, but if Sevilla have chosen him then it's not without reason".
He also spoke about Joaquín Caparrós and his time at the Club in the last part of the season: "Within those four matches he showed us that sometimes things are more straightforward than they appear. It's great that he is going to continue at the Club". He also touched on the season just gone: "It's been a complicated year in more aspects than one, but we've had some amazing moments. It's been a strange season where we've had glory in the palm of our hands. Everything happens for a reason and we have to continue working hard for the next season".
To round things up, he spoke about his future on an individual basis: "At times things don't go as one would want, and it makes you feel very frustrated because I would've liked to have scored and played more. I've got 2 years remaining on my contract and I've always said that I came here to triumph. A footballer always wants to feel useful and confident".
