Sevilla FC Femenino drew at home to Real Sociedad (2-2), in a game that was very much in their favour thanks to the excellent approach to the game taken by Cristian Toro and his coaching staff, who stuck to the established plan from kick-off, but in the end, were left with the bitter taste of a draw.

In the first half, Martín-Prieto and then Amanda, after a good pass from Ana Franco, both looked like scoring, but in the 16th minute, the previous chance was flipped on its head so that the midfielder from Madrid whipped the ball in from the left with a powerful cross from which Ana Franco got the goal. After the goal, Martín-Prieto had another chance whilst Real Sociedad seemed to be lacking a dangerous edge in a first half that lacked chances.

Jessica put the ball in the back of the net with a goal that was then cancelled out by Eizagirre and Gaby

In the second half, the chances were slow to come and in the 75th minute Jessica Martinez scored the second from the penalty spot after a penalty decision made against Amanda Sampedro. And just when everything seemed to have been settled with that second goal, both teams made changes that shifted the dynamic. 10 minutes later Nerea Eizagirre scored from long range to pull one back, and in stoppage time, Gaby García equalised from a corner to rescue a point for the San Sebastián side.

With this result, Sevilla FC won their first point of the season, but they will have been left longing for the extra two points due to the way the game finished up. Now it's time for the international break and to look ahead to the game away to Villarreal CF in two weeks' time.
