Sevilla FC put their demons behind them this evening in the away leg of the Copa del Rey round of 32 clash with FC Cartagena. Eduardo Berizzo's side came out eager to dominate the game and controlled possession throughout the 90 minutes.
The visiting side had chances right from the off. The first came through Correa on 13 minutes, who after receiving a pass from Ganso, shot low to the right post, forcing Morales into action to send the ball for a corner. Only a few minutes later, Ben Yedder had his chance to get on the scoresheet, with a shot that was parried by the local keeper.
After two early warning signs, Sevilla FC scored their first in the 24th minute. Carole won the ball back in the centre of the park, linked up with Ben Yedder, then found Sarabia, who with a deft touch with his left, chipped the ball over Morales and watched it float into the back of the net.
