NINETY MINUTES FOR ACUÑA AS ARGENTINA REACH THE COPA AMÉRICA SEMI-FINALS

Marcos Acuña played the full ninety minutes as Argentina overcame Ecuador in the Copa América quarter-finals. For the third time this tournament, the Sevilla left-back played the whole matches, as goals from De Paul, Lautaro Martínez and Lionel Messi sent Scaloni's side to the semi-finals.

As for Papu Gómez, he was an unused substitute and did not feature at all during the match. The attacker, who already has two goals at the tournament, is now awaiting the semi-finals with his teammates. Argentina will face Colombia at the Estádio Nacional de Brasília in the early hours of Wednesday 7th July.
