Sevilla FC coach, Eduardo Berizzo, evaluated his side's opening Champions League draw at Anfield: "The result left us feeling very positive. To get a draw after the first half where we struggled a lot is very impressive. They caused us danger on the wings and in the second half we were able to balance that out and we started to build and become a lot more solid defensively - pushing forward and believing we could get the result we achieved."
The Argentinian coach added "we controlled the centre of the field when Sarabia came on. He gave us structure and we started to gain control of the opposition. Where they did damage on the wings we started to measure up and we played football more freely until we found the equaliser... we even could have won at the death. It's a result to value because it's a very difficult place to come and we always believed we were in the match and could continue competing."
