Yassine Bono was the guest on Monday on Sevilla FC TV's A Balón Parado. The Moroccan international spoke about the chance of winning the Zamora trophy. "It's something very nice but when the challenge of the team is so important you forget about it a bit. It is clear that achieving this helps you because you also conceded fewer goals, but really since the start of the season it is not something that I was thinking about. Now I continue in the same way."

He also talked about his contract extension which was announced last week: "I am enjoying it and we will have time to celebrate it. I am enjoying the present and I know that I can't control the future. I am at a place that allows me to be an important name on a European level and it is the best place to continue improving and to continue developing. In football and in life something always happens that forces you to react. Your mind needs to have problems to overcome."

He even spoke about the figure of Juan Carlos Unzué, who he knew from Girona: "We spent a short time together, it was two months but he passed on a lot to me because he was an important name as a player and as a trainer and the bits he told me were a lot. He allowed me to believe and trust in my distribution of the ball because he came from Barcelona where they always play like this and it gives you conviction."

Lastly, he referenced the aim: "We have to go for every game and fight for second place. For me, it would be a very good year because we would deserve it after what we have done before. If you stay second it takes you closer to fighting for the title in the future. We have to go for everything in these five finals."
