The 'keeper spoke to the media after signing: "It's a dream come true because I've always been a Sevillista and it's so good to be able to stay here for two more years. I think this season has been great for me because I'm improving a lot. All of the training sessions are serving me well and that means that when my time comes, I'll be able to give it my best shot". In addition, he wanted to thank both Vaclík and Bono: "I learn a lot from them because they're both international goalkeepers and I have to make the most of this opportunity".
