CORCHIA: “WE'VE GOT A GOOD TEAM, WE CAN MAKE THIS SEASON A GREAT ONE”

The Frenchman highlighted “we have two upcoming matches at home, we have the capabilities to do great things”

Sebastien Corchia was the guest appearance on A Balón Parado. The player spoke about the form of the team, but more importantly about the upcoming games: "I think that the approaching matches are good ones to play, they're both at home and we've got the ability to do great things. With our fans there we have to win both games. If we win we'll qualify for the knock-out stages. It's a big match, but right now we need to focus on this Saturday's game against Celta".

Questioned about his wishes for the end of the season, the Frenchman replied "I'd like to play my best everytime I get the chance, I want us to win matches and place as high as possible. We have a good team and we have the capability to have a great season".

Asked to give his opinion on players of his choice, Corchia chose to speak about Nolito, Ganso and Muriel: "Nolito a big personality, he speaks a lot and he's a magnificent person that always wears a huge smile, he's a hard worker. Ganso is very skilled but calm, I really like his game. Luis Muriel is a brilliant striker, he's quick, strong, and when given a good shot he scores a lot. He's hard to stop in training".

In a much more personal part of the show, Corchia spoke about how he ended up signing with Sevilla FC: "My agent told me about the offer from Sevilla and of course I said yes. It is a Club that wins titles whilst playing in a huge championship. I had other offers but I knew I wanted to sign with Sevilla. There's more to Sevilla than just the team, I love both the city and the fans. When you play in the stadium the crowd spur you on with their shouting - it's incredible. As you begin to tire the fans encourage you and you start to believe that you're unstoppable. For me, this team is the best team I could be in with the best fans".

Furthermore, he revealed that "When I told Bielsa that I had signed with Sevilla, he told me that he knew Berizzo well, he told me that I didn't need to worry because it would work well".
