The prestigious magazine France Football has just published their Best African XI, only including players in Europe, and gave special prominence to the great season of Sevilla's Youssef En-Nesyri. In fact, the striker has been named as one of the best three attackers, sharing that privilege alongside Mohamed Salah and Riyad Mahrez.
According to the French publication, "Sevilla's Moroccan centre-forward has had a memorable season, marked by a fourth-placed finish. At 24, he is one of the most sought-after strikers in Spain at the moment. A just reward for a great job". En-Nesyri, who is currently on international duty with Morocco, finished the campaign with 24 goals, with six of them coming in the UEFA Champions League.
The eleven players are as follows: Mendy (Chelsea); Achraf (Inter), Koulibaly (Nápoles), Tapsoda (Bayer Leverkusen), Mandava (Lille); Haïdara (RB Leipzig), Kessie (Milan), Bebou (Hoffemheim); Mahrez (Manchester City), Salah (Liverpool) and En-Nesyri (Sevilla FC).
