Sergio Ramos, Youssef En-Nesyri and Nemanja Gudelj spoke to the media following the draw at PSV. After Tuesday night's game in Eindhoven, Ramos stressed the critical importance of small details: "After going ahead twice away from home the result is disappointing. We stood up to the challenge but despite picking up a point tonight we must keep learning as this competition is always decided by fine margins. We're not looking for excuses, but it's never ideal when the refereeing decisions define a game like they did tonight. PSV like to have posession and press, but in the second half we improved a lot, created chances and the goals arrived. In the Champion's League it's difficult to take three points away from home so we are frustrated right now."
Nemanja Gudelj, scorer of our first and captain on the night, then praised the hard-fought nature of the team's performance, even though was ultimately undone in the final seconds of the contest: "We worked extremely hard today, took the lead twice and overall we feel we deserve to be heading home with three points instead of one. We know we will have to fight for every point in every game and that nothing will be given to us. The referee cost us tonight and that's not right. We're confident and I'm sure we'll take the positives from this game. Now it's time to recover, analise the performance and then go for the three points on Saturday in front of our supporters before the international break."
En-Nesyri, who buried a header for our second goal, also highlighted the hard work put in by his teammates and addressed the performance of the officials: "I'm really happy with how the team played as we gave as good as we got tonight and now we need to focus on what's to come. I'm still in some pain but the most important thing is to do my job, to be out there with the team."
