BRYAN'S HAPPINESS AT RETURNING HOME: "I CAN'T EXPRESS IN WORDS HOW I AM FEELING"

Bryan returned home, with his goal helping to secure victory on his birthday: "My family and friends are here. This was a second debut of sorts for me and it was even better with the goal and the victory. It was not hard to finish, but I had to be there. Some beautiful memories from my debut came back to me, and I have come back to where I was very happy, with a goal. I can't express this in words because I am very emotional. It's an honour that the fans of my boyhood club support me so much. Today they were just as good if not better than us, the players. We notice this and it gives us an extra spark." 

He continued: "We have to get better away from home and keep on moving forward. I was sure since getting here that we were going to turn things around. The only thing we needed to change was the dynamic. Today we have got back to winning ways and I think that this will continue. The team has to take each game as it comes, we are going to treat Thursday as another final in front of our fans and we have to win."

Another who left it all on the pitch was Jesús Navas: "The team gave everything today, we started with intensity and this was crucial in winning the game. We attacked constantly and then we worked as a unit to get the ball back. We have been doing this for several games and this was what we wanted to achieve. Today I wanted to be on the pitch. The injury was more an issue of time but I have recovered and I am happy to come back and get back to winning ways. Every individual worked for the team today, wanted to support one another and give their all. We are excited for the Europa Cup tie now. We will be confident as we are in good form and we have to keep this up. There are other games to come but it will be beautiful to return to the Philips Stadium and I hope that we can get through to the next stage". 

Finally, Fernando Reges noted the desire of the team to win from the outset and also commented on his midfield partnership with Pape Gueye: "We are happy because we came to win, we put pressure on them up top and got into them. You must always approach a game like this and not doubt yourselves. Today I loved this mentality. The feeling amongst the team was excellent and this is the version of Sevilla which I love. You can lose, but knowing who we are at home and that we give our all here is a must."

On the fans: "The fans supported us a lot and it helped us to pressurise the opponent. I think that we have to be all together in this. I am pleased that Pape played excellently and the way we played today is how we will win away from home too. With Pape, Óliver and Bryan had more freedom and I am happy for him, because he showed his personality today. Personally, I always try to help the team and I think I did that today. On Thursday we have to put pressure on our opponent, like we should always do"
