Sevilla FC Femenino suffered defeated away to Levante UD (3-0). Cristian Toro's girls tried their best but found themselves up against a strong home side, who before the break were already two goals to the good. When Sevilla looked as though they'd found some momentum in the second half, Levante soon dealt the final blow despite the white and red team's efforts.

In the first half the hosts dominated proceedings and eventually the result. Although Sevilla attempts were coming in, most of them coming from dead-ball situations, it was Alba Redondo who slotted a through-ball into Gio Quireoz' path for the Brazilian to send the ball home for the game's first goal at the 24th minute mark. Now at the halfway point in the first half, with the team coached by Marco Tamarit, the team was trying to level the scores. Sullastres was helpless when Leire Baños hit a shot from outside the 18-yard box that gave the hosts a two-goal lead soon after scoring the first

Despite the scoreline, the Sevilla Ladies were looking for a goal to give some more hope, however it just wouldn't come

Toni Payne and Jessica Martínez sought to close the gap before the interval, showing signs that the team could give much more than what it was giving, but they couldn't put the ball past Paraluta and find that illusive goal. After halftime, Sevilla looked to have improved with much more control of the ball and creating chances, mostly from dead-ball situations conducted by Rosa Otermín. Structure and tactics were being modified from the sideline nearer to the 60th minute mark with Vasconcelos coming off the bench, but despite the pressure applied to Rumana's goal, Carol Férez scored Levante's third and definitive goal with ten minutes to go

The women's first team didn't pick up any points despite the reaction showed in the second half. Now thinking ahead to the next fixture, a home game against Real Sociedad in two weeks time, the team will be eager to correct things after this international break.
