Lucas Ocampos spoke to official media after the 1-1 draw with Deportivo Alavés where he scored Sevilla's equaliser: "We didn't want this result, we went for the win, we tried, they had one chance and scored. It's now time to keep working".
OCAMPOS: "AT TIMES WE WENT WITH OUR HEARTS INSTEAD OF OUR HEADS"
"We went out as we always do but we couldn't find any gaps, they dropped back well and at times we went with our hearts instead of our heads. The important thing is that we keep demonstrating we are a strong side, despite the goal, we knew how to get back up, we equalised and went for the win until the end", he added.
Asked about the fans' reactions during the match, Ocampos said there was no reason to criticise them: "They supported us in every moment. Obviously they weren't happy at times, but we weren't either. We can't criticise them at all".
Finally, he spoke about his penalty which secured a point: "I asked Éver to let me take it, he always takes them. I was really keen to take it, he told me to hit it with power, and thankfully I was able to score".
