THE ONLY TEAM TO HAVE NOT CONCEDED IN THE SECOND HALF IN LALIGA

Sevilla FC are, together with Villarreal CF, the strongest team defensively in what has been played of LaLiga so far. This is backed up by the statistics and the league table itself. However, when analysed a little closer the figures from this first stretch of the league, a curious detail can be seen. It is the fact that Julen Lopetegui's side remain as the only team which has not conceded even one league goal in the second halves of matches. The three conceded so far up until now, at Elche and Granada away from home, as well in Nervión against Valencia, came before half time. The team closest to Sevilla FC in this sense are Villarreal themselves, who have conceded twice in this second half so far.  

A lot more spread out is the subject of goals scored. In this area, Sevilla FC have got six goals in the first half and four in the second, from the ten that they have currently accumulated on the scoreboard. Only Rayo Vallecano with seven goals have got more goals in the first half, although the Madrid teams have played a game more up until now. In reference to this run of games, the bracket in which goals are most likely for Sevilla FC are, for now, the first and last quarter of the game, with three goals in each of these. The four remaining goals arrived between minute 16 and 30, two goals between minutes 30 and 45 and one goal between minute 46 and 60. 

With regards to RC Celta, the next league opponent, their top three players with the most minutes is led by two recent arrivals, the goalkeeper Dituro and the defender Javi Galán. Third place is occupied by the captain Iago Aspas. However, with regard to the goalscoring threat, the standout player up until now is Santi Mina, leading with five of the six goals that Celta have accumulated in LaLiga thanks to his two goals, equal with his Aspas, and his three assists.
