Rafa Mir, Erik Lamela and Joan Jordán spoke to the media after the win against Athletic Club. After what was the last league game of the season, Rafa Mir highlighted that "we have reached our goal and we say goodbye to our fans in a celebratory manner and that's important. I am really happy with the support the fans give me, there has been a lot of setbacks but we have got through it with flying colours. Now we have to take ten days off and come back to full strength. The squad we have, along with the fans, is amazing and achieveing Champions League football for the thrid season in a row is great. I'll keep all the support I felt, the union we have is brilliant, I'll always cherish the first day I arrived and the support I felt. Bono is a great goalkeeper and there is a lot to celebrate."

Furthermore, Lamela went on to say that "the team left everything out on the pitch and we have to value what we have achieved this year. We are biding farewell with a good feeling all around, the fans are always close and I am proud to wear this shirt. This season has gone so quick and I came back when it was about to finish, but I prepared myself well so that next season is even better. There are positive things to be demanded of the team to have a better year. Finishing with a good harmony is needed to celebrate a bit for the coming year... Bono is an incredible person and that award is more than deserved and hopefully he can keep on picking up awards. I feel as though I have been here more than just a year with the way the fans treat me."

To finish off the interviews was Joan Jordán: "Overall the team has been quite good. We have picked up a burst of confidence that maybe we had lost in the last month, but our fans deserved to leave on a high. A lot has happened, internally it hasn't been an easy last month. Complex situations have come up and sometimes it's difficult, but we knew we had to pull out all the stops and reach the target. There were times in which we were closer to other feats, but we have to value reaching the 70 mark point. In Europe we weren't up to scratch and we will leave those experiences in the past so that we are ready for next season."
