Manu Bueno, Juanlu and Lucas Ocampos spoke to Club Media after the 2-0 defeat away at Athletic Club.
Speaking first, Manu Bueno discussed his chance to feature in the starting XI: "No one likes losing, but I think the team competed and I'm happy with the opportunity to start, I tried to take full advantage. We need to keep going, we have one more match and we need to face up to it to finish the season on a high. As an academy player, I'm proud to play for the first team. We always have to be ready and hopefully next season we'll have lots of good moments. Playing for my Sevilla is always special and even more so as a starter, we'll keep working so that it can happen often."
As for Juanlu, he was disappointed with the scoreline: "We're all sad because this isn't how we wanted to finish the season after the recent good run of form. It's tough, but we have to give our all in our last match at home to give the fans one more good moment this season. We had chances in the second half, but we couldn't convert them and we're feeling down after losing 2-0, I think it's not a fair scoreline but it was difficult to get back into the match."
To finish, Lucas Ocampos wished to apologise to the fans: "It's not nice to end the season like this. It hurts, because in my time here this is the first time it's happened and it's difficult. You have to be clinical in football, they got their goals and controlled the ball all match, they deserved to win. All that's left for us to do is keep going and apologise to the fans who travelled up, it's a long journey, they will also be hurt, as are we. We've got one more match, we'll try to get a good result and leave this season behind. It's been long and tough, but that's football. One year you win a trophy and the other year it turns out like this one. We have to change the performances we turned in this year because here it's unacceptable. Personally, I feel very disappointed with our end of the season but that's the way it is, without looking for excuses."
