"As a coach, I like to win matches and then analyse how it came about"

Julen Lopetegui, Sevilla FC coach, has given his pre-match press conference on the eve of his side's trip to the Balearic Islands to face RCD Mallorca at Son Moix. He began by stating that "things are coming thick and fastwe're already facing another important matchMallorca are in good shape and are looking strong. They deserved to win the other day. We have the time that we have and we can't complain, we'd rather prepare well regardless of the context".

"Every team has their own urgencies for their own reasonsIt's inevitable in sport and football. They all need to win and want to win, without a doubt. They lost in the last minute away at Real Sociedad and drew away at Valencia despite being the better side. They've picked up a lot of points at home to good teamsThey have a lot of talent and lots of energythat type of team is very dangerous. They're coming into this with good momentum", he continued.

Lopetegui was then asked about En-Nesyri and players who stood out in Sunday's win over Levante UD: "Youssef still has a knockwe'll see how he is but it isn't easy. Óliver, Munir, Ludwig... some have played earlier on and some have started later, but everyone has to be ready. All of them will help us achieve our objectivesof course".

The coach finished by stating that "I like to win matches and then analyse how it came about. As coaches, it's in our interest to win. The games go the way they go sometimes, you don't have to interpret them in any other way".
