LOOKING FOR A SEVENTH CONSECUTIVE WIN AS GETAFE VISIT THE SÁNCHEZ-PIZJUÁN

It's time for another league match for Sevilla FC after a week of cup action. The Nervionenses reached the semi finals after a 1-0 win against UD Almería on Tuesday, and will face FC Barcelona in the semi finals, a two-legged affair, with the first leg taking place on Wednesday. However, before that cup tie, Getafe CF are the latest side to visit the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán, in Matchday 22 of LaLiga. Both sides have one game in hand. 

Ahead of tonight's clash against the South Madrid side, Sevilla FC are fourth in the league, with 39 points, and are in excellent form. The Blanquirrojos have strung together six consecutive wins, with three in the Copa del Rey and three in LaLiga, since their last defeat, which came on 12th January against Atlético de Madrid. Also, the Hispalenses have picked up 23 points in their last ten league matches, drawing two matches and losing one. After the defeat to Real Madrid in early December, Julen Lopetegui's side began that run of fixtures against Getafe CF.

As for the visitors, The Blues arrive at the Sánchez-Pizjuán in twelfth place in the league table, with a total of 24 points. José Bordalás's side will face Sevilla FC on the back of two matches without a win, drawing 0-0 against Deportivo Alavés after a 5-1 defeat at San Mamés. Bordalás is without one of his starting midfielders, the Uruguayan Mauro Arambarri, who will serve a one-match suspension after picking up five yellow cards. Defender Mathías Olivera and strikers Unal and Cucho Hernández are all unavailable due to injury. 

In his pre-match press conference yesterday, the Sevilla FC manager, Julen Lopetegui, highlighted that Getafe CF "compete incredibly well with their style of play", and emphasised that "they're on a good run away from home other than the slip up against Bilbao, and I'm expecting a tough opponent". As for the Basque manager, he cannot call on Marcos Acuña, who will unfortunately be out of action for a while, as well as Óscar, also injured, and Rakitic, who will miss this match after his fifth booking of the season against Eibar. 

The match will be played on Saturday 6th February at 21:00 CET at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán. The referee in charge is Martínez Munuera, from Valencia, while González González is on VAR duty.
