This weekend, Sevilla will host the Rescue Great Day, an event which sees teams come to compete from all over Spain, Portugal and Romania. The city council organises this event so that the different teams can exchange ideas and they ways in which they work. Activities kick off today, Friday, in 'La Cartuja' with competitions in 'Isla Mágica', 'la Torre Schindler' and the 'Pabellón de la ONCE'.
On Saturday, the activities will move to another part of the city and the troops will begin under the cover of Preferencia in the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán, where the participants will have to rescue a 'trapped' worker. There will also be troops in the big close-by shopping area, as well as on the 'Puente de la Expiración'. The schedule for Rescue Day 2019 also includes some meetings, a more social gathering, a closing ceremony and a prize-giving for all those who participated in the 'Palacio de los Deportes de San Pablo'. It promises to be a great event.
