SEVILLA WELCOME LILLE LOOKING FOR THE WIN TO EDGE THEM CLOSER TO QUALIFICATION

The Champions League returns to the Sánchez-Pizjuán after two away trips to Germany and France and it does so on a day that could be decisive for the final outlook of the group. Lille return to face Sevilla after our journey there two weeks ago in an attempt to get the first win in the group, something which still eludes the team.

We welcome Lille sat on three points in Group G. Lille are also yet to win, and have two points after falling to defeat in once match. Second against third, four and five points behind the leaders FC Salzburg, a victory would be key tonight in edging towards qualification. The French side come into the match having lost away to Paris Saint-Germain - their fourth match in a row without a win.

Lille have visited Spain three times in the last twelve years, always against the same rival: Valencia CF. They won in 19/20 and lost in 09/10 and 12/13. All matches took place in the Champions League. Ibrahim Amadou, currently at Sevilla, Adil Rami and Sebastien Corchia have all worn the Sevilla and Lille shirts.
