The Match
We travel to the Ciutat de Valencia to face Villarreal CF, with their usual pitch "La Cerámico" undergoing renovations. This will be our last match before the international break.
League Table
We sit 16th in the league with four points after last weekend's win against Espanyol. Unai Emery's team have 10 points from their five games, putting them 6th. They have three wins, one draw, one defeat and have only conceded one goal.
The Squad
Julen Lopetegui brings a squad of 23 to Valencia. Delaney misses out, in addition to the suspended Lamela. Óliver Torres comes back into the fold.
Villarreal will be without the injured Gerard Moreno and Juan Foyth.
Players to Watch
While Villarreal are a strong team throughout, Alfonso Pedraza has had a good start to the season at left back. Lo Celso and José Luis Morales have caught the eye as well.
The Last Three Trips to Villarreal
We have two draws and a defeat from our last three away match against Villarreal. In 19/20, we played out a 2-2 draw. The season after saw a heavy 4-0 defeat, while in May we scored a last-minute equaliser to draw 1-1.
Pre-match Press Conference
Julen Lopetegui said the team "is ready to face a great team who play some of the best football in Europe".
Referee
Kick off is at 16:15 CEST and will see Hernández Hernández referee the match.
