The Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán will be used as a centre for mass-vaccination against COVID-19 in Seville. Sevilla FC offered the stadium to the services of the Andalusian Health Service, the SAS, a few months ago. The health authorities will visit the Sánchez-Pizjuán on Monday to study the facilities, assess their viability and offer their approval.
The SAS has informed that if one-hundred doctors and nurses were to work at the stadium, 26,000 people could be vaccinated a day there, with the number of vaccines a doctor or nurse is allowed to administer capped at 260.
