RECOVERY SESSION AFTER THE DRAW AGAINST VILLARREAL

There were a number of academy players at the session to make up for the absence of 11 first-teamers on international duty

The first team were back in training this morning after yesterday's draw against Villarreal CF in Valencia.

The squad returned to Sevilla last night, and those who are not on international duty were at the training ground for the session. In total, 11 first-teamers will represent their countries in this round of international fixtures, and they are as follows:

Montiel, Acuña and Papu Gómez: Argentina
Bono and En-Nesyri: Morocco
Delaney and Dolberg: Denmark
Dmitrovic and Gudelj: Serbia
Alex Telles: Brazil
Nianzou: France U21

To make up for the absence of those players, Julen Lopetegui called upon the services of a number of academy players for the recovery session. The plan is for the team to train until Thursday before having Friday through to Sunday off.
