THE FINAL WEEK OF PRESEASON TRAINING GETS UNDERWAY

Julen Lopetegui's men returned to the Jesús Navas Stadium on Tuesday after two days of rest.

The first team returned to the training ground on Tuesday morning to continue with preseason preparations following their training camp in Lagos. It will be the final preseason week before the start of the 2021/22 La Liga campaign where the team will face Rayo Vallecano on August 15 at the Sánchez-Pizjuán. Papu Gómez and Acuña were back in training after time off following their victory at the Copa America with the Argentinian national team.

The squad will continue to train at the training ground on Wednesday before travelling to England to face Aston Villa in the final preseason friendly on Saturday.
