Lucien Agoumé featured on the 'Solo el Sevilla' programme on Friday, ahead of the home match against FC Barcelona. Following a session at the training ground, the midfielder said, "I'm feeling good, working hard every day to help the team and to improve. We've started the year alright, we must build on this. I'm always prepared for anything, you never know when the opportunity will come so you have to be ready. The whole team are always ready to play, we've seen throughout the season that the starting XI does not stay the same. We're all working hard to play on Sunday. It's a shame that Sambi picked up an injury. He's a good friend of mine and has been playing well, but I'm sure he'll come back even stronger."

With regards to the opponent, he highlighted the importance of sticking to the game plan: "We have to play with the same belief every game. They are a good team, but we have to play our own game. We can't wait to get the game underway, at home in front of our fans. In these types of games, we need all the support we can get from the crowd. We believe in ourselves, we'll come into the game fully prepared and ready to go toe to toe with Barcelona. We'll need to avoid any mistakes and stay focused all the way until the final whistle."

Finally, Agoumé once again talked about the support from the home fans: "We know that this will be a difficult game. They are a big club and in very good form. The fans will play a huge role if we are to get a positive result. That is what we all want and that is the best way to show our appreciation for them. We'll finalise our preparations then go out Sunday ready to give it our all."
