After missing a penalty inside the opening three minutes, Arnau's goal before the break raised fears of the worst, but we reacted with two second-half strikes from Saúl and Lukebakio to get back to winning ways on the road in the league

It was not easy to foresee at half-time, but we recorded an important victory on the road at Montilivi. Although it was a difficult start as Isaac had an early penalty saved, Lukebakio had an effort come back off the crossbar and then Arnau put the home side 1-0 up with their first chance of note. The game however swung back the other way and a second-half comeback means we take all three points on the road for just the second time this season.

It was a lightning-quick start and with just two minutes on the clock, Isaac was fouled by Oriol Romeu, and a penalty was awarded. Isaac took the responsibility but Gazzaniga got down to make the save and keep the score at 0-0 and deny us an early lead. In a lively game, Bryan Gil tried his luck with a cross-shot and Vargas responded with another clear chance before the quarter-hour mark. First, it was blocked by Gazzaniga and on the rebound he sent it into the side netting. Nyland then came up with a big save one-on-one against Abel Ruiz from the edge of the six-yard box. Lukebakio's shot then hit the crossbar after Pedrosa's cross from the left that fell to the Belgian.

Lukebakio completed the turn arond with just two minutes remaining of the 90

But it was Girona who would end up opening the scoring. With nine minutes left before the break, a corner kick taken by Asprilla was flicked on by Tsygankov for Arnau to head home. However, the second half would prove a different affair and the start of a well-deserved comeback. The equaliser came from a set piece on the hour mark Saúl's header from Lukebakio's corner kick was initially blocked by Gazzaniga on the line but the Argentine goalkeeper could do nothing against the rebound, which our number 17 poked in for his first goal.

Both teams made changes in the final stretch with Idumbo and Kike Salas coming on and then Ejuke for his first appearance in three months due to injury. With two minutes to go the turnaround was completed. A ball over the top was flicked on by Saúl for Lukebakio. The Belgian raced onto the ball and dinked the ball past Krejci before keeping his cool to finish past Gazzaniga and secure a valuable three points on the road.
