SEVILLA FC WOMEN TO PLAY FRIENDLY AGAINST SC CASABLANCA

Sevilla FC Women and Sporting Club Casablanca will play a friendly match on Saturday 24 August. The match will take place at Casablanca at 19:00 local time (20:00 CEST).

The participation in this match comes after an invitation from Sporting Club Casablanca to take part in the Morocco Women's Cup 2024. 
The match aims to strengthen the bond between our two organisations, develop our relationship and begin to build framework for other possible collaborations, such as the exchange of footballing expertise.

SC Casablanca was founded in 2019 and has experienced meteoric growth. In just five years, it has established itself as strong contender in the CAF Women's Champions League, in which they finished as runners-up in 2023.

Our visit will offer a new test for David Losada's team in preparation for the start of the 2024-2025 season in the LigaF. Another international friendly, to go alongside those scheduled as part of the Algarve Trophy in Portugal, against Sporting CP and Benfica on 8 and 9 August respectively.

The match is also a very special moment for Fatima Tagnaout, one of the new faces of Sevilla FC Women, who will play in her home country just a few weeks after signing for the club after excelling with her national team and at club level in Morocco, where she won eight consecutive league titles, as well as the CAF Women's Champions League in 2022 and was chosen as the best player in African club football.
