Jorge Sampaoli has revealed his 18-man squad for the trip to Madrid to face Atlético Madrid at the Vicente Calderón on Sunday afternoon.

The Argentine will not be able to call on the services of David Soria or Nico Pareja, who are both out with injuries. The goalkeeper has an issue with his right knee and is replaced in the squad by José Antonio Caro.

Nico Pareja, meanwhile, is out with a groin injury and a problem with his adductor muscle. Ganso has not travelled with an issue in both adductors, while Luciano Vietto and Matias Kranevitter are not in contention due to a clause in their loan agreements between Atlético and Sevilla which prevents them from facing their parent club.

José Antonio is joined in the squad by the recalled Carriço and Montoya, who were not in the squad to face Leicester in the Champions League last week.

The squad in full:  Sergio Rico, José Antonio, Mariano, Mercado, Lenglet, Carriço, Rami, Escudero, Nzonzi, Iborra, Sarabia, Montoya, Nasri, Franco Vázquez, Correa, Vitolo, Jovetic and Ben Yedder.
