OCAMPOS AND TECATITO HAD THEIR SAY AFTER QUALIFYING FOR THE LAST SIXTEEN IN CROATIA

Despite the defeat, both players pointed out the team's dominance along with the composure brought from the first leg to make sure Sevilla's name was in the draw in Nyon and, of course, this Sunday's derby

Lucas Ocampos and Jesús Corona spoke after the game in Croatia. First up was our Argentine attacker who commented on qualification to the last sixteen, despite the defeat away to Dinamo Zagreb: "There are two games, we won the first and today we suffered more than we thought we would but in the end we got through, that's all we were looking for. When we were on top they scored and it gave them hope but we knew how to hold out, even with ten men... I think we know how to manage these games very well. We've demonstrated this on many occasions, the last time we won the Europa League sticks out... I'll miss the derby, I was looking forward to it but I will be supporting from where I am."

Tecatito Corona spoke about how difficult this competition actually is and also about the upcoming derby, in what will be his first as a Sevilla player: "We were going into a complicated game but I think the team reacted well. It was a bit strange, we practically had the game under control, but in the Europa League anything can happen and they pressed us hard. As an individual, I need to keep on improving and after recovering from covid, I think things will start going well. At the moment, I am looking forward to it and I am anxious to get going in the derby."
