The Argentine was satisfied by the performance of his players in a match where "we improved throughout, finishing with dominance"
Cuerpo Superior
Eduardo Berizzo evaluated the win against Eibar, which gave Sevilla three deserved points: "In the first half we didn't take our chances. Ben Yedder's and Nolito's were big, but that didn't worry us and we kept going. Scoring at the start of the second half was crucial and after that we didn't struggle. I'm happy with the defensive performance of the team and with how we kept looking for more goals even against an opponent as difficult as Eibar."
He recognised it was a good performance from the off, but also saw an improvement as the minutes went on: "The performance grew, from strength to strength, and we finished with a lot of dominance. We didn't suffer any chances on the counter-attack and that speaks volumes about the efforts of the team. We need to keep working, developing the team and the matches will get even better for us."
Cuerpo Inferior
He spoke about scorer of the first goal Pablo Henrique Ganso: "I have a very clear opinion about the footballing ability of Ganso, who is a tremendously talented player. His rhythm is clearly different, but he's made a lot of effort to be at this level and to involve himself in defense. I'm very happy with him."
It's now time to think about Anfield and the Champions League: "It will be a difficult match, a difficult opponent but we're very excited. This win will strengthen us and the international break has been good for training and to prepare ourselves. We're closer to reaching our top level."
