The club continues its firm commitment to using technology across all areas to optimise and obtain the best results both on and off the pitch. The Sevilla FC Innovation Center brings together all the research and development (R&D&I) projects carried out by the club. The 2023-24 season has been recognised as an international benchmark in the sports industry in terms of technology developed and applied in all areas of the club..

Undoubtedly, one of the major milestones of the 2023-24 season was the launch of the Scout Advisor tool. Built in conjunction with IBM's WatsonX, its generative artificial intelligence system, has made it possible to optimise the availability of information from more than 200,000 scouting reports from scouting databases. This qualitative progress is achieved through natural language searches, significantly reducing the time needed to extract information from the database.

The appearance of Scout Advisor has had a global impact, with coverage of our technological development reported on in media outlets all over the world. The tool has accumulated prominence in more than 1200 media outlets worldwide, with a combined potential readership of over 2 billion. Alongside other technological projects, Scout Advisor was presented at conventions around the world, including summits in the United States, Mexico, India, Brazil and Saudi Arabia, among others.

Scout Advisor is just one of the tools that Sevilla FC has been developing over the last three years to facilitate the management of the club across all areas and follows on from the success achieved last season with the launch of Transfer Tracker, the first technological solution marketed by a Spanish club together with LALIGA.

The Sevilla FC Innovation Center continues to consolidate itself as an industry leader when it comes to explaining how to apply technological innovation to the football industry. Examples of this include the Master's Degree in Big Data in football scouting or the organisation of the 4th edition of the Sports Data Forum together with Sports Data Campus and the Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM). In October the first edition of the New Master's Degree in Innovation and Technology in Sport will commence.
