On Friday, the Stade de France hosted the first of two possible international matches during this round of fixtures featuring Sevillistas on opposing sides. Ahead of next Thursday's clash between Sweden and Serbia, it was the UEFA Nations League match between France and Denmark that saw Jules Koundé and Thomas Delaney go head to head. Both players started, with Koundé playing in a 3-man defence while Delaney partnered Hojbjerg in midfield, before being replaced late on by Diaby and Jensen respectively.

The match ended in a comeback for the visitorsafter Benzema had given France the lead early on in the first half. However, the Danes managed to come from behind thanks to a brace from Trabzonspor striker Cornelius. France's next match is against Croatia in Split on Monday, while Denmark will host Austria in Copenhagen. Austria lead the way in the group after a 3-0 win away at Croatia in Osijek.

The next international fixture where Sevillistas could feature in is on Sunday, with Argentina facing Estonia in a friendly at 20:00 at El Sadar. At 20:45, Gudelj and Dmitrovic could be involved in Serbia's match against Slovenia in Belgrade, as could Augustinsson in Sweden's clash against neighbours Norway in Solna. Those matches are both part of Matchday 2 of the UEFA Nations League.
